Lafrio Privacy Policy

Lafrio is a free online tool for turning a script, a voiceover and a background image into a scrolling text video for Reels, Shorts and TikTok. It is made by Replex Media. This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to the files you upload, which cookies the site uses, how advertising works, and the choices you have.
At a glance
- No sign-up. You can make a video without creating an account or giving your name.
- Your files are temporary. Uploads and rendered videos are deleted automatically, usually within hours and always within 24 hours.
- Your content stays yours. We use it only to make your video. We never sell it, share it or use it to train AI.
- Ads keep Lafrio free. Ads, including Google ads, appear only on the home page and while a video renders, never inside your video.
- You're in control. You can block cookies, opt out of personalised ads and ask us to delete anything you've sent us.
1. Who we are
Lafrio (lafrio.com) is operated by Replex Media, which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. "We", "us" and "our" mean Replex Media; "you" means anyone who visits the site or uses the Lafrio video editor.
2. Your script, voiceover and images
To create your scrolling text video, the editor sends what you add to our servers: your script, voiceover, background image and, if you choose, background music and a custom font. We use these files only to:
- show you a live preview and render your MP4 video;
- time each line to your voice when you use "Analyze speech timing". This runs on our own servers, and your audio is never sent to an outside transcription service.
We don't look through your content, publish it, sell it or use it to train artificial intelligence. You keep all rights to your script, audio, images and the videos you make with Lafrio.
3. Feedback and contact forms
If you choose to contact us, we keep only what you send:
- Feedback: your star rating, your comments and, if you add it, your email address.
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and message.
We use this to improve Lafrio and to reply to you, and nothing else. We never add you to a mailing list without asking.
4. Cookies and site measurement
The editor works without an account and without cookies of our own. Like most websites, Lafrio uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can fix problems and decide what to improve. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to do this. We never send it the content of your script or the names of your files.
Your browser's local storage also remembers small conveniences on your device, such as whether you've already rated Lafrio. This never leaves your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; Lafrio keeps working. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Advertising
Ads help keep Lafrio free. They appear in two places only: the Lafrio home page and the panel shown while your video renders. Ads never appear inside the videos you download.
- Google ads. We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, which can include personalised ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- Replex Media promotions. We also show our own promotions. These don't use advertising cookies.
- Your choice. You can turn personalised ads off in Google's My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party ad vendors at aboutads.info.
- Europe and the UK. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you'll be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
6. Who we share data with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Lafrio:
- Oracle Cloud hosts the website and processes your video renders.
- Google provides Firebase (where feedback and contact messages are stored), Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Lafrio and its users from fraud or abuse.
7. How long we keep data
- Uploaded files are deleted automatically within 24 hours of your last activity.
- Rendered videos are deleted automatically a few hours after they're created, so download yours promptly.
- Feedback and contact messages are kept for as long as they help us improve Lafrio or answer you, and deleted on request.
8. Security and where data is stored
Every connection to Lafrio is encrypted with HTTPS. Our servers are in the United Arab Emirates, and Google may process data in other countries under its own safeguards. No online service can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to the minimum and delete uploads automatically.
9. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- stop using it for a particular purpose.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We use your files to provide the service you ask for, rely on your consent for personalised ads where the law requires it, and rely on our legitimate interest to keep Lafrio secure and improve it.

10. Children
Lafrio is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Lafrio grows. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows the current version, and important changes will be highlighted on this page.
